Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join a high‑performing team delivering infrastructure and performance excellence.

You will shape the future at one of the world’s largest financial institutions and apply deep knowledge of software, applications, and processes within the infrastructure discipline. In this role you will own Endevor inventory models, develop Python automation and REXX utilities for z/OS, and build Jenkins pipelines with API/CLI wrappers.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Experience configuring and operating CA-Endevor (inventory models, processors, packages, promotion rules).
• CI/CD delivery with Jenkins and pipeline-as-code to automate build/test/promote flows.

Responsibilities

• Engineer Endevor inventory model aligned to SDLC and release governance.
• Configure and maintain processors to enable deterministic builds and middleware hooks (DB2/CICS/IMS where applicable).
• Develop Python automation and REXX utilities for z/OS-side automation and orchestration.
• Build and maintain Endevor automation interfaces using APIs/CLI wrappers and custom scripts.
• Implement Jenkins pipelines that invoke Endevor via wrappers and enforce promotion sequencing.
• Ensure traceability: map commit/build IDs to Endevor identifiers and capture promotion history.
• Troubleshoot failures across toolchain and provide RCA and preventive fixes.
• Define backup/DR procedures for Endevor repositories and critical datasets.
