Truist seeks a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to provide technical leadership for the architecture, engineering, and implementation of our Data Center and Edge networks. The role shapes interconnection between enterprise data centers, cloud providers, and partners, with a focus on scalable, secure designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum 10 years in infrastructure engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud, network, storage, and middleware infra.

Responsibilities

• Implements strategic goals and establishes operational plans for the technical area.
• Designs, builds, directs, and implements enterprise infrastructure across cloud, network, database, storage, and platforms.
• Develops automation, monitoring, and optimization for high availability and performance.
• Leads large, cross-departmental infrastructure initiatives.
• Collaborates with partners to adopt new technologies and improve standards.
• Troubleshoots complex issues impacting performance and reliability.
• Ensures governance and regulatory compliance.
• Documents designs and procedures to support operations.
• Provides advanced guidance and training to infrastructure teams.
• Influences decisions to align with business objectives.
