Job summary

Sigma Connectivity Inc. in the USA seeks a hands-on Lead for the Infotainment/Connectivity Platform Team. The lead owns software and validation work on Linux- and Android-based infotainment and connectivity platforms. The role requires 8+ years of experience.

Responsibilities include ramping up on the codebase, developing software for hardware verification, and guiding junior engineers, with a focus on performance, stability, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of embedded software development
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with high-performance SoCs (Snapdragon, NVIDIA Orin, MediaTek)
• Proficiency in Embedded Linux, QNX, and DriveOS; experience with hypervisors (Type-1, Gunyah, ACRN)
• Experience with infotainment/connectivity subsystems (camera/display, GNSS, RF, A2B, Bluetooth audio)
• Strong BSP and kernel bring-up experience (Linux, U-Boot; eMMC, UFS, SSD, DRAM)
• Knowledge of interfaces: SPI, I2C, Ethernet, PCIe, CAN

Responsibilities

• Ramp up on the codebase, build pipeline, and regression testing
• Develop and maintain software stack for hardware verification on Hypervisor, Linux, and Android systems
• Design and run stress tests on CPU, GPU, NPU, and multimedia subsystems
• Analyze and optimize ECU performance
• Support board bring-up, design verification, and debugging with architecture, hardware, and software teams
• Train and guide junior engineers
• Provide weekly status, risk, and decision documentation to program leadership
