Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks a DevOps/SRE Engineer for an Information Security team to build, operate, and enhance an LLM-based code vulnerability detection capability. You will design the scanner, evaluation harness, and CI/CD pipelines, then transition to ongoing operations including patching and feature development.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of related engineering experience, including hands-on information security or software development work.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock or equivalent hosted LLM platforms, including model selection and guardrail configuration.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code best practices and Terraform modules.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably Jenkins, integrated with GitHub.
• Working knowledge of application security concepts, vulnerability classes, and SAST/SCA tooling behavior.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for stakeholders.
• Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Preferred: experience with AWS IAM, ECS and service-to-service authentication patterns.
• Preferred: experience with RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Preferred: Splunk development experience including data onboarding, search, dashboards.
• Preferred: containerized workloads and Linux systems knowledge.
• Preferred: Agile methodologies and development experience.
• Preferred: prior experience in regulated financial services environment.
• Preferred: relevant certifications like AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, etc.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a security engineer on cloud projects.
• Build and operate an LLM-based code vulnerability detection capability on AWS Bedrock.
• Develop and maintain the evaluation harness to measure scanner quality.
• Build and maintain scanning pipelines with GitHub and Jenkins, deployed to ECS and Terraform.
• Deliver findings and telemetry to Splunk; build dashboards and alerts.
• Design, test, and implement solutions at the Feature level.
• Advise on operations and evolution of the product.
• Support operational information security responsibilities and documentation.
• Provide ongoing patching and defect resolution for deployed scanner.
• Participate in a four-person rotating 24/7 on-call schedule (40 hours/wk).
• Maintain controls to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Understand virtualization and containerization technologies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
