Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline with 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Graduate degree in a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, 13+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and apply security controls from NIST SP 800-53 and CNSSI 1253 into engineer-friendly requirements.
• Support implementation and validation of STIGs and other baselines.
• Execute RMF lifecycle activities (categorization, control selection, implementation, assessment, authorization, monitoring).
• Develop, maintain, and review RMF documentation (SSP, SAR, POA&Ms, Security Plans).
• Review high-level system design to ensure security requirements are met across software, network, and hardware.
• Interface with Authorizing Officials and external assessors to support authorization.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.
