Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Colorado Springs seeks a Lead, Info Security Systems Engineering to define and implement security solutions for government systems. You will work with RMF, NIST SP 800-37/53/171, CNNSI, JSIG, and FIPS to certify systems and ensure compliance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with developers and vendors to secure state-of-the-art systems, perform risk assessments, and build secure cloud/on-prem environments. On-site with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; 9+ years of related experience; graduate degree optional.
• Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI highly desired.
• DoD 8140 IASAE Level 2 certification and cloud security certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, implement, document, test and sustain security solutions for national security systems.
• Develop RMF artifacts: SSPs, RMF mappings, continuous monitoring, and POA&Ms.
• Implement/assess security controls and perform risk-based decision making.
• Design secure on-prem and cloud environments; IAM, encryption, and key management.
• Develop and maintain security dashboards and automation with security controls as code.
