Job summary

ENCS is seeking an Information Security Engineer to lead networking security projects within a high-performing team. You will drive automation efforts, coordinate with senior leadership, and shape long-term security solutions across the enterprise.

The role requires hands-on expertise in VPNs, firewalls, SIEM, and vulnerability management, with a focus on Cisco/Juniper platforms and Fortinet/Palo Alto UTM capabilities. A collaborative, problem-solving mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in networking security with emphasis on enterprise environments.

• Hands-on with network security appliances and VPNs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Federal SOC team with automation and DevOps mindset.
• Serve as liaison with senior leadership to present long-term security solutions.
• Provide consultation and training on security processes and tools.
• Maintain awareness of evolving technologies to align with corporate security strategy.
• Demonstrate subject matter expertise in 3+ security/technical areas.
