Job summary

Optum Insight, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks an experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Technical Lead Architect to lead on-prem Informatica MDM solutions and data integration across state programs. You will design, implement, and troubleshoot the full MDM stack, guiding ETL specialists, and ensuring governance and security alignment.

Remote work is allowed with CST preference; some locations require in-office presence.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in MDM, ETL and data integration.
5+ years hands-on Informatica MDM and PowerCenter.
Strong SQL with enterprise relational platforms.
Experience with data quality, governance concepts and data matching.
Experience with SDLC delivery and troubleshooting Informatica jobs.
Python programming for scripting and automation.

Responsibilities

Own MDM technical solution delivery and design MDM solutions to meet business needs.
Lead security by design and privacy by design aligned with CISO guidelines.
Coordinate Informatica MDM delivery activities and supervise ETL teams.
Automate data staging with scheduled scripts to improve performance.
Develop mappings, mapplets, sessions, and workflows in Informatica.
Schedule and monitor ETL/Informatica jobs across environments.
Document workflows and technical specifications for governance.
Provide status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Support validation, defect resolution, and testing with business teams.
