Job summary

Learning Care is seeking a Lead Teacher in Knoxville to provide engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for preschoolers. You will mentor fellow teachers, create hands-on activities, and ensure a safe, welcoming classroom aligned with licensing standards.

You’ll build strong relationships with families, support growth across social, physical, and cognitive domains, and lead curriculum implementation with a team-focused mindset in Learning Care’s nurturing program.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Must meet state education requirements for childcare centers.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage children in physical activity.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care for preschool children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth.
• Lead classroom management, curriculum implementation, and licensing guidelines compliance.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote child achievement and center success.
