Best Point Education & Behavioral Health in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Lead Infant Teacher to provide high-quality, developmentally appropriate care and guide a classroom team. You will implement the Creative Curriculum and lead curriculum aligned with SUTQ standards.

You’ll support infants’ cognitive, motor, social, and emotional development, balance activities, and partner with families to promote well-being and school readiness. Benefits support health, growth, and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• CDA or associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
• Meets CPL 3 requirements through the Ohio Early Childhood Professional Development Network (Ohio ECPDN).
• Direct experience teaching in an infant classroom.
• Strong knowledge of infant development and social-emotional learning.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with classroom team members.
• Flexibility, dependability, and a commitment to high-quality early childhood care.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Physical ability to meet the demands of an infant classroom.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, responsive, nurturing infant classroom.
• Implement curriculum aligned with SUTQ standards and the Creative Curriculum.
• Support infants’ cognitive, motor, social, and emotional development through daily experiences.
• Balance child-initiated activities with teacher-guided learning opportunities.
• Observe children’s development and use assessment information to support individualized learning experiences.
• Maintain a classroom environment that promotes healthy development, exploration, and school readiness.
• Lead and support assistant teachers in daily classroom activities and routines.
• Promote effective communication, teamwork, and consistency across the classroom.
• Establish positive relationships with families and collaborate with professionals as needed.
