Job summary

All Around Children in Strongsville, OH seeks a Lead Sr Infant Teacher to join our state-of-the-art childcare center. You will design age-appropriate infant curriculum, foster relationships with families, and collaborate with a team to support children 6 weeks to 12 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDA (minimum) or AA/Higher in Early Childhood Education or related field required.
• Career Pathways Level 3 certification preferred for Lead Teacher.
• At least 1 year of child care experience in a licensed ODJFS program.
• Background check (BCI/FBI) and health/vaccine requirements.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for infants; strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement an age-appropriate curriculum for infants (6 weeks–12 months).
• Observe, assess development and communicate with families.
• Deliver learning experiences tailored to developmental needs.
• Create classroom lesson plans and maintain safe, compliant environment.
• Lead parent conferences and mentor fellow teachers; participate in PD and staff meetings.
