Job summary

Chesterbrook Academy seeks a loving Lead Infant Teacher to join our team, Monday through Friday 7:30am-4:30pm. The infant program provides a safe, nurturing environment where babies can explore, grow, and achieve milestones with support from a dedicated staff.

You will build strong relationships with families, create engaging activities, and maintain a consistent routine that aligns with licensing standards and our commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old and meet state licensing requirements.
• Prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
• CDA, or AA degree/Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or at least 60 credits with 6 credits in Early Childhood/Child Development.
• Nurturing personality with patience, flexibility, and a love for working with babies.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, responsive, and engaging classroom experience that supports each child’s needs.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with families through daily communication and care updates.
• Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment where infants can develop curiosity and early learning skills.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to maintain routines and uphold licensing standards.
