Job summary

The Learning Experience is seeking a Lead Teacher in Summit, New Jersey. As a Lead Teacher, you will create a nurturing environment for children and mentor less experienced teachers. Responsibilities include implementing the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® and communicating effectively with parents.

The ideal candidate should have at least six months of professional teaching experience, a relevant degree, and a growth mindset. The position offers a competitive pay range of $18 to $21 per hour along with benefits such as health insurance and wellness resources.

Qualifications

• 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred, minimum six months required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom.
• Ensure overall classroom management and a nurturing learning environment.
• Implement proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® for young children.
• Communicate with parents about children's progress.
