Job summary

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers in Clarkston, MI seeks a Lead Infant Teacher to guide daily infant care and learning experiences for 6-week to 12-month olds using the High Scope curriculum.

The role requires a CDA, CPR, and at least one year in an infant classroom, with a preference for a Bachelor's/Associate in ECE. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm, onsite with benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• CDA credential required.
• Bachelor's or associate degree in early childhood education, child development or child-related field preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in an infant classroom required.
• CPR Certification.
• Willing to pursue higher education per NAEYC and Michigan guidelines for ECE teachers.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities for infants 6 weeks to 12 months using the High Scope curriculum.
• Collaborate with an assistant teacher to provide a safe, engaging learning environment.
• Support growth, development, and well-being of each infant in care.
