The Goddard School of Houston (The Greater Heights) is seeking a passionate Lead Infant Teacher. Join our nurturing team to implement an engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports young children's growth and curiosity.

This full-time position runs Monday to Friday with daytime hours. Starting salary ranges from $35,360 to $41,600 with benefits including health insurance, PTO, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
• 2-3 years of experience with young children in licensed setting
• State-required pre-service training
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Curriculum and Instruction: Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
• Classroom Management: Create a safe, nurturing, inclusive classroom environment
• Family Communication: Maintain open communication with parents/guardians
• Health and Safety: Ensure cleanliness and safety of classroom and areas
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and stay current with best practices
