Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
• CDA preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in licensed childcare or preschool
• Has completed state-required pre-service training
• Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Curriculum and Instruction: implement age-appropriate lesson plans, foster love of learning, observe and assess development
• Classroom Management: create a safe, nurturing environment; manage daily routines; address behavioral issues with positive guidance
• Family Communication: maintain open communication with parents; conduct conferences; encourage family involvement
• Health and Safety: ensure cleanliness; follow health and safety guidelines; supervise indoor/outdoor activities
• Professional Development: participate in ongoing training; stay current with best practices; collaborate with staff
