Job summary

The Goddard School of Pasadena, MD seeks an energetic Teacher to support early childhood education in a safe, dynamic environment. You will plan, present, and evaluate activities for children, maintain ratios, and communicate with parents daily to share progress and adventures.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of experience, 90 Hour Certification, Infant & Toddler certifications, MSDE trainings, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of previous teaching experience in a licensed child care setting.
• 90 Hour Certification (45 Growth & Development & 45 Methods & Materials).
• 45 Infant & Toddler certifications.
• MSDE trainings (ADA, Breastfeeding).
• Must meet background check eligibility.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities and coordinate the classroom operations.
• Plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for children.
• Maintain classroom safety, supervision, and adherence to ratios.
• Communicate daily with parents about children’s progress and events.
