Job summary

Johnsonville Sausage, LLC in Holton, KS is seeking a Maintenance technician to ensure the operation and maintenance of plant refrigeration, hot water generation, HVAC and utility systems for uninterrupted production.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in industrial refrigeration and boiler work, RETA certification, ability to read blueprints, and strong teamwork and communication skills. Some travel for training may be required.

Qualifications

• Completion of Class I and Class II Industrial Refrigeration School with RETA Certification.
• Industrial Ammonia PSM course and Certification completed.
• Technical Training in relevant area required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Plant Refrigeration, HVAC, Hot Water Generation and Utility systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair of refrigeration, HVAC, boiler and utilities.
• Troubleshoot electrical or mechanical problems on plant systems.
• Support compliance with Plan PSM program and regulations.
• Assist in maintaining HAZMAT program and equipment.
• Mentor others in Refrigeration/HVAC basics and safety practices.
