Job summary

HelloFresh is seeking a Refrigeration Technician in Illinois to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and industrial refrigeration systems. You will serve as the resident expert, lead safety compliance, perform preventive maintenance, document work in CMMS, and mentor junior technicians.

The role requires 4–6 years of experience, EPA 608, and ability to travel up to 10%. The position offers competitive pay and benefits in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA 608 certification required.
• Industrial refrigeration experience in a similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Lead safety, food safety, and security compliance.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed.
• Document work in CMMS and ticketing systems.
• Mentor maintenance personnel on refrigeration knowledge.
• Lead root cause analyses of downtime events.
• Travel up to 10% for business needs.
