Job description

Kleen Test Products has an opening for a Maintenance Technician Lead at our Mequon, WI manufacturing plant, working the Weekend PM shift (6:30PM-6:30AM, Friday, Saturday, Sunday; 36 hours for 40 hours pay).

Maintenance Tech Leads are skilled manufacturing mechanics with experience in fabrication, welding, electrical repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting. They serve as the go-to person when the Maintenance Manager is unavailable.

We seek candidates with strong mechanical and electrical skills, a solid work ethic, and a proven safety record. Ideal candidates will have a balanced mechanical and electrical background, with a proactive mindset to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment efficiently.

Essential Maintenance Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to foster teamwork.
  • Ensure all production equipment operates safely.
  • Repair and maintain production and plant equipment.
  • Perform line and equipment changeovers.
  • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot production issues promptly.
  • Encourage teamwork through communication, brainstorming, and shared learning.

Qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or GED, with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Associate's degree or certification in maintenance or a skilled trade, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with high-speed packaging, processing, or manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt quickly.
  • Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
  • Solid technical skills with basic electrical and mechanical knowledge applied practically.
