Qualifications

• Advanced welding experience with aluminum, steel, and multiple metals.
• High-level machining and fabrication skills.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing complex industrial equipment.
• Working knowledge of boilers, chillers, and hot oil systems.
• Knowledge of industrial boiler chemistry.
• Experience with precision alignment and equipment setup.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Self-motivated with ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for plant utility systems, including steam boilers, chillers, and hot oil systems.
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and system-level equipment failures.
• Design and fabricate custom parts, tools, and equipment improvements.
• Perform advanced welding on aluminum, steel, and a variety of other metals.
• Operate machine shop equipment, including lathes and milling machines, to manufacture precision components.
• Rebuild motors, pumps, and mechanical assemblies.
• Perform precision alignment and shimming of equipment to maximize reliability.
• Monitor boiler chemistry and optimize system performance.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives; collaborate on capital projects.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and high-quality work environment.
