Job summary
HP, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Design Engineer to lead multiple project teams and oversee complex industrial design and development for a portfolio of products.
The role focuses on design architecture, language, validation, and specifications while driving innovation and improved user experience. The candidate will mentor staff, develop roadmaps, and coordinate schedules with internal and external partners, shaping a compelling business case for senior executives and guiding new technology
Qualifications
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related discipline or commensurate work experience.
- 7–10 years of work experience in industrial design and hardware development.
Responsibilities
- Leads multiple project teams of designers and partners across all stages of industrial design and development.
- Manages relationships with internal and outsourced partners on industrial design.
- Reviews designs for compliance with guidelines and improves product quality and UX.
- Manages implementation schedules coordinating timelines with project managers and partners.
- Provides domain-specific leadership and drives technical design solutions across projects.
