Job summary

TAI is seeking a Construction Superintendent in Towson, MD to lead on-site operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and execution across projects nationwide. You will own projects from planning through completion, working closely with clients, engineers, and project teams to deliver exceptional results.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years of onsite superintendent experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel across the US.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of onsite Construction Superintendent experience, preferably with industrial projects.
• Experience communicating with owners/owner’s reps, subcontractors, and insurers.
• Familiarity with AIA contracts, subcontracts, RFIs, submittals, and invoices.
• Ability to travel and support projects across the US.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to perform calculations, problem solve, and reason.
• Ability to direct others and manage on-site teams.
• Commitment to customer service and high ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs job in accordance with Company mission, vision, and goals.
• Assume full ownership of projects from start to finish.
• Manages various construction projects and can manage several simultaneously.
• Works closely with the project team and coordinates all on-site construction activity.
• Assumes responsibility for all on-site safety and enforcement of safety requirements.
• Interacts with clients to coordinate and plan upcoming work.
• Takes control of each project and ensures on-time, within budget, high quality.
• Interacts with engineers and designers to facilitate project completion.
• Maintains relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• Collaborates with architects and design team to develop the best product for customers.
• Collaborates with vendors and subcontractors during bidding, estimating and procurement phases.
• Performs quality controls and monitors Construction Management software.
• Communicates with clients/subs via Construction Management software.
