Job summary

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking a Construction Project Manager for our Oak Ridge, TN location. The role oversees industrial construction projects from concept through completion, with accountability for budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, client communication, and safety/compliance.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of industrial construction experience, proficiency in Procore/Primavera P6/MS Project, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Industrial construction experience with proven success managing projects.
• PM expertise including budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Strong understanding of industrial facilities, such as manufacturing, utilities, energy, chemical, or heavy industrial environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of industrial construction projects from pre‑construction to closeout.
• Develop, track, and manage project budgets; ensure financial performance aligns with targets.
• Create and maintain detailed project schedules; coordinate sequencing with subcontractors.
• Negotiate, award, and manage subcontractor and vendor contracts; ensure scope compliance.
• Oversee daily field operations, enforce safety protocols, and resolve site issues.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, engineers, inspectors, and leadership.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies for quality adherence.
• Lead commissioning, punch lists, turnover, and final financial reconciliation.
