Job summary

Summit Electric Supply, part of the Sonepar group, seeks an Automation and Control Specialist to lead industrial automation projects focusing on Schneider Electric solutions. You will apply hands-on process control, SCADA, PLC/HMI, and drive technology to translate complex requirements into successful, on-time deliveries.

Work with account managers, manufacturers, and contractors to develop quotations, manage budgets, and ensure technical excellence across automation deployments.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on background in process control and automation.
• Experience with SCADA, PLC/HMI architectures, and drive systems.
• Ability to read engineering docs and develop BOMs and submittals.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation projects from concept to delivery.
• Consult with customers and vendors to scope, quote, and execute projects.
• Coordinate with account managers, system integrators, and contractors.
• Provide technical guidance and support on automation applications.
