Job summary

Kids Central is hiring a Supervisor of Independent Living - Child Welfare in Ocala, FL. The role directs the Independent Living Coordinators, Navigator, and Administrative Assistant, ensuring services meet standards and laws.

A Bachelor's in social work plus 3+ years in social services are required; MSW preferred and CSP certification is required. The position entails leadership, risk assessment, community liaison, and staff training, with Florida-specific regulatory compliance and on-call

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in social work or related field; 3+ years in social services.
MSW preferred and cultural sensitivity.
Child Protective Professional Certification required.
Current background clearance letter and valid Florida driver's license.

Responsibilities

Supervise Independent Living Administrative Assistant, Navigators, and Coordinators.
One-on-one supervision with Job Coach for certification preparation.
Monitor performance of Independent Living staff.
Coordinate new or modified services with Director.
Conduct supervisory reviews in Florida Safe Family Network System.
Counsel Independent Living clients per their service plan.
Review cases to ensure transition/intervention plan compliance.
Lead committees relating to the independent living program.
Coordinate training and ensure staff ongoing education.
Represent the agency to the community and partners.
Plan Youth Advisory Council meetings; assist with marketing.
