Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Active Florida Child Welfare Certification or Child Welfare Supervisor Certification required; exceptions for out-of-state equivalents may apply.
• Minimum of one year of relevant social services experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops performance standards with workers and monitors compliance.
• Coordinate onboarding and training for new staff; oversee staff development plans.
• Review unit caseloads quarterly with one-on-one discussions and documented recommendations.
• Monitor day-to-day case manager activities, including home visits and required documentation in state databases within 48 hours.
• Lead unit meetings, provide guidance, and arrange multi-disciplinary staffings as needed.
