Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. in Greenville, TX seeks a Lead Information Security Systems Engineer to advance incident response and security operations across a hybrid environment.

The role leads monitoring, investigation, and escalation of security events, collaborates with system owners, and drives improvements to detection, response plans, and compliance evidence for risk management and audits.

Qualifications

• Active US Secret security clearance or higher.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree with 7+ years of related experience or 13 years without a degree.
• Current in at least one certification (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GCIH, GCIA, CySA+ etc.).
• Minimum 8 years in security operations, incident response, or security engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead IR and security-ops across AWS, data centers, and corporate sites.
• Develop playbooks, runbooks, and incident escalation procedures.
• Monitor, investigate, and coordinate responses to security events.
• Generate incident tickets and maintain evidence for audits.
• Produce risk reports and security metrics for stakeholders.
