Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking an Associate Principal Scientist to lead in vitro toxicology work, with a focus on Microelectrode Array (MEA) assays, for discovery and development programs. The role requires planning, execution, data interpretation, and reporting to guide next steps in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

  • PhD in a scientific field with 3+ years post-PhD experience preferred.
  • Strong background in cell biology and electrophysiology.
  • Experience with MEA assays in drug discovery or development.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine in-vitro toxicology assays focusing on MEA.
  • Plan and report in vitro toxicology studies for discovery compounds.
  • Design experiments, analyze data, and communicate results.
  • Conduct high-throughput studies and manage multiple projects.
  • Establish new TOX assays and improve current assays.
  • Mentor junior scientists and provide lab support and calibration.
