Job summary

Blue Ridge Heating & Air in Upstate South Carolina is seeking an entry-level Lead-In-Training Installer to support residential HVAC installations. You will assist with heat pump or furnace change-outs in customers' homes, under guidance from the Installation Manager, with training provided in-office, in-class, and on-the-job.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of HVAC installation experience, solid hand and power tool skills, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum of HVAC installation experience.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Introductory knowledge of electrical, plumbing.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Valid, insurable driver's license and pass a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Installer on each installation job following provided guidance.
• Help prepare the installation truck with all supplies and materials.
• Communicate with the Lead Installer to ensure adherence to quality expectations.
• Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, entry-level Lead-In-Training Installer to join our team and support installations of residential HVAC systems. The Lead-In-Training Installer will assist in complete heat pump or air-conditioner/furnace change-outs in a resident's home following industry, manufacturer, and company practices. The company will provide training in our office, classroom, and on-the-job. The successful candidate will have strong work-ethic, problem-solving skills and be able to learn to work independently.

• Support the Lead Installer on each installation job following the job summary, pictures and videos, and guidance from the Installation Manager.
• Help prepare the installation truck with all supplies and materials necessary to complete each job.
