Lilly is seeking a Senior Director, Imaging Clinical Research Physician to lead the clinical development of diagnostic radiopharmaceutical imaging programs, spanning oncology, immunology, and cardiovascular disease. The role advances imaging strategies across early and late-phase trials and collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive translational science.

Qualifications

• MD with board eligibility or certification in a relevant medical specialty.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical development experience; minimum 3 years in industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of integrated clinical development programs for diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals across oncology, immunology and cardiovascular diseases.
• Define clinical strategies, endpoints, patient populations, and imaging criteria for each development phase.
• Design studies to evaluate diagnostic accuracy, imaging timing, biomarkers, and comparative performance versus standard imaging.
• Serve as scientific expert in molecular imaging modalities (PET, SPECT, CT, MRI) with translational relevance.
• Analyze and interpret molecular imaging data (PET/CT, SPECT/CT) and evaluate imaging biomarkers for patient stratification and disease monitoring.
• Collaborate with physicians, scientists, medical physicists, imaging operations and analysis teams; coordinate with CROs and external partners.
• Author and review key clinical/regulatory documents and contribute to imaging trial documentation.
• Communicate findings through internal presentations, abstracts, and publications.
