Job summary

JoB Training & Coaching in Hartford, CT seeks an experienced Ignition Architect to lead the design, deployment and optimization of advanced SCADA solutions for manufacturing. You will translate complex operational requirements into scalable Ignition architectures and work with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Responsibilities include building dashboards for KPIs and OEE, developing Python scripts, and ensuring reliable data flows across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1+ year in a similar role (10+ years strongly preferred).
• Hands-on Ignition SCADA architecture and system design experience.
• Active Ignition Gold Certification preferred.
• Proven PLC integration and multiple industrial communication protocols.
• Understanding of IT/OT convergence and industrial data flows.
• Proficiency in Python scripting within Ignition.
• Manufacturing or industrial environment experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• EU citizenship and a valid passport are required.

This role requires a strong technical leader who can translate complex operational requirements into scalable, high-performance Ignition architectures. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, from site assessment to production rollout, while ensuring reliability, efficiency, and data-driven insights.
