Job summary

Coupang is seeking a Security Engineer to modernize our enterprise identity platforms and strengthen authentication and access controls across a global environment. You will lead the design, build, and operation of large-scale Active Directory and cloud identity services, partnering with security, infrastructure, and platform teams.

The role requires deep AD expertise, strong scripting skills, and a track record of delivering scalable IAM solutions in large enterprises.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of hands-on IAM, Directory Services, or Infrastructure Security engineering.
• Deep expertise administering, engineering, and troubleshooting Microsoft Active Directory/Entra in large enterprises.
• Experience designing, migrating, or modernizing complex multi-domain AD environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and build-out of enterprise directory services modernization.
• Design, build, and operate large-scale Active Directory environments across domains/geographies.
• Improve reliability, security, and operational excellence of identity infrastructure.
• Develop and integrate IAM capabilities with cloud and hybrid environments.
• Engineer authentication and authorization improvements across identity lifecycle processes.
