Zusammenfassung

Core Group Resources is seeking a Lead Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Designer to own the quality and technical correctness of I&E drawing packages on multiple industrial projects. You will collaborate with lead engineers, other design groups, and client teams, coordinating the I&E portion of the 3D model and guiding less experienced designers.

The ideal candidate brings extensive I&E design experience, proves independent problem-solving, and demonstrates strong communication and leadership

Qualifikationen

• Extensive I&E design experience on industrial projects with focus on accuracy and quality.
• Experience juggling multiple projects while maintaining deliverable quality.
• Experience leading design coordination across disciplines, offices, and client teams.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling environments and multi-discipline model coordination.
• Experience performing site walkdowns and producing field reports and sketches.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Aufgaben

• Produce complete, accurate I&E drawings reflecting real-world constructability.
• Coordinate with lead engineers and other design groups to deliver a high-quality final package.
• Visit sites to gather field data and document conditions with reports and sketches.
• Act as lead designer on assigned projects, directing design work and reviews.
• Coordinate across all disciplines in the 3D model for model reviews and drawings.
• Troubleshoot complex design and field problems with creative solutions.
• Recommend updates to design standards to lower cost and raise quality.
• Keep up with current design tools and industry standards.
• Mentor and provide technical direction to other designers.
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture focused on shared goals.
