Job summary

Precise Engineering seeks a Project Engineer III focused on Instrumentation & Controls to support Golden Pass LNG Operating Company at the Sabine Pass terminal. The role is hands-on in a live plant, handling multiple small capital and expense projects from scope through commissioning and turnover to Operations.

The ideal candidate has extensive field instrumentation experience, strong I&C knowledge, and proven ability to manage budgets and schedules in a running facility.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or engineering technology.
• 12+ years of industry experience.
• Experience managing project budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Own routine project updating and forecasting, cost control, schedule adherence, change management, documentation, and closeout.
• Define scope, goals, and deliverables that progress through a staged-gate project management system.
• Develop cost and schedule estimates from vendor input and market conditions, and prepare funding requests.
• Coordinate with discipline leads to ensure compliance with specifications, policies, and procedures.
• Assemble bid packages and coordinate evaluation with Procurement.
• Manage equipment and services purchases with vendors.
• Oversee contractors, costs, progress, and scope of work.
