Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer for High‑Speed Missiles to bridge cutting‑edge physics and high‑rate production. You will drive industrialization of hypersonic programs, establish core processes, and lead ramp from prototype to rate with broad leadership responsibilities.

You will optimize processes, reduce costs, and ensure the manufacturing line scales from day one while partnering across design, manufacturing, and program teams to meet aggressive milestones.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related STEM field, or equivalent work experience.
• Senior hands-on hardware manufacturing experience leading complex aerospace/high-tech product lines and owning NPIs from cradle to grave.
• Proven ability to influence design decisions for aggressive DFM/ DFA and align with production schedules.
• Experience guiding and unblocking peers; strong leadership without formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead the charge as the primary manufacturing leader for the hypersonic program, setting strategy and driving cross-functional teams to milestones.
• Drive early NPI and DFM/ DFA collaboration with design leadership during development phases.
• Architect and scale factories, layout, and advanced assembly lines for hypersonic vehicles.
• Develop robust processes for exotic materials, TPS, and propulsion integration.
• Own tooling, capital equipment, and qualification of custom assembly tooling.
• Block bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.
