Job summary

LVI Associates in Dallas, TX is seeking a Lead Hydropower Engineer to drive delivery of complex dam, hydropower and energy infrastructure programmes across Texas and the North American market. This senior leadership role blends technical excellence, client engagement and project leadership to expand our presence.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, act as trusted advisor to utilities and government agencies, manage budgets and schedules, mentor engineers and support business development.

Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) licence required.
  • Extensive experience within hydropower, dams, power generation, water resources or heavy civil infrastructure.
  • Proven success leading engineering projects and managing client relationships.
  • Strong project management and team leadership experience.
  • Background in structural engineering and infrastructure assessment.
  • Experience overseeing multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Prior involvement in dam safety, pumped storage, power generation or large-scale infrastructure programmes is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

A nationally recognised engineering consultancy is seeking a Lead Hydropower Engineer to help expand its presence across Texas and the wider North American power market. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys combining technical excellence, client engagement and project delivery while working on some of the industry's most complex dam, hydropower and energy infrastructure programmes.
