Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems seeks an experienced Hydronics Shop Supervisor to strategically plan and oversee personnel in the Hydronics Shop at the Monument location. You will collaborate with the Plant/Shop Manager to drive productivity, safety, and quality in fabrication operations, ensuring staffing, scheduling, and process adherence align with company goals.

Qualifications

Strong industry knowledge.
Excellent leadership skills including honesty, integrity, patience, empathy, and a strong work ethic.
Effective communicator at all levels of the business.
Experience and deep understanding of all hydronics trades and fabrication practices.
15+ years of experience in construction including 5+ years in hydronics fabrication.
Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee Hydronics production personnel at the assigned location to ensure standards and productivity are met to achieve company goals.
Assist Plant/Shop Manager with hiring, promoting and terminating hydronics shop staff.
Attend regular department meetings and continuously evaluate personnel performance.
Maintain staffing levels to meet project schedules and ensure productivity and efficiency.
Monitor quality control measures to meet or exceed industry standards.
Understand and ensure compliance with local union Collective Bargaining Agreements.
Mentor and train shop personnel to develop future leaders.
Monitor third-party vendors working at the shop and participate in project kick-offs and wrap-ups.
Assist with tracking productivity metrics and budgeting.
