Job summary

Ramboll US Corporation in Arlington, VA seeks a Regional Practice Manager for Hydraulics and Hydrology to lead the Water Infrastructure & Climate Adaptation group across the Americas. You will manage large hydraulic studies, mentor staff, and develop client relationships while advancing climate resilience and flood risk mitigation.

Ideal candidates hold a PE, 15+ years in consulting, and deep experience with Infoworks ICM, HEC-RAS/HEC-HMS, SWMM, and stormwater permitting.

Qualifications

Professional Engineer certification/registration.
B.S. Degree or higher in Water Resources, Civil, or equivalent engineering field.
15+ years in consulting experience.
Expert knowledge of hydraulics and hydrology and ability to advise on open channel, surface flow, and closed-conduit models (Infoworks ICM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM).
Experience with stormwater and floodplain permitting programs.

Responsibilities

Provides technical leadership and vision for hydraulic practice area.
Leads project scope, schedule, and budget and manages project resources.
Develops and maintains client relationships and pursues new business opportunities.
Coaches staff to improve technical performance and project outcomes.
Leads or participates in medium to large hydraulic studies focusing on drainage basins and watershed management.
Collaborates across service lines and geographies to deliver integrated solutions.
