Job summary

Ramboll USA's Water Infrastructure & Climate Adaptation group is seeking a Regional Practice Manager for Hydraulics and Hydrology to lead our water resources team across multiple U.S. offices.

You will guide hydraulic analyses, supervise project delivery, and help win work on climate adaptation, flood resiliency, and watershed management initiatives. The role requires PE certification, 15+ years of consulting experience, and strong leadership to develop staff and client relationships while

Qualifications

• PE certification/registration required.
• BS or higher in Water Resources or Civil Engineering.
• 15+ years in consulting.
• Expert hydraulics/hydrology knowledge and experience with open channel, surface flow, and conduit hydraulic models (InfoWorks ICM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM).
• Experience with stormwater/floodplain permitting.
• Experience in H&H teams and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, project delivery, and financial oversight to project teams.
• Provide hydraulic practice area leadership and vision for staff.
• Find opportunities for continual improvement in our business processes.
• Demonstrates ability to obtain repeat business from existing clients and performs as trusted client advisor.
• Coaches project team members to develop their project performance and technical skills, in collaboration with Division/People Managers.
• Proficient at developing project scope, schedule and budget, and assembling and managing project team/resources that are proficient in the technical aspects of the project.
• Leads or assists in identifying and pursuing business development opportunities within service lines, spearheads, sectors, key accounts and/or growth initiatives.
• Actively engaged in client development, cross market, cross service line/spearhead and/or cross geography collaboration.
• Directs or manages the development, planning, execution and provide quality assurance of medium to large hydraulic studies of varying complexities, focusing on drainage basins, watersheds, and stormwater systems.
