Job summary

Shoals MPE in Florence, AL is hiring a Lead HVAC Technician to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems. You will lead a team of technicians, ensure safety and compliance, and deliver high-quality HVAC solutions for diverse projects.

The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and excellent communication with clients and stakeholders. A valid EPA 608 certification and state licensing as needed are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC apprenticeship or tech school preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an HVAC technician.
• Valid EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal preferred).
• Proficient in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems across residential, commercial, and industrial units.
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team and communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• System installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including furnaces and air conditioners.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing complex HVAC issues; oversee repairs for optimal performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards on all job sites.
• Communicate estimates and project status to clients and internal teams.
• Oversee inventory and documentation of service activities and maintenance logs.
