Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification: Universal or EPA 608 available or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance or related field.
• Knowledge of HVAC controls and energy management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides lead oversight for HVAC Specialists and other workers in the maintenance of buildings and plants.
• Performs journey-level and specialized installation, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC equipment.
• Operates a centrally-operated energy management system; adjusts parameters to optimize operation.
• Maintains scheduling logs and provides technical support for diagnostics and repairs.
• Assists in system upgrades, equipment replacement, and energy efficiency initiatives.
• Trains staff on servicing, maintaining, and operating central plants and chillers.
