Job Title: Lead Commercial HVAC Technician

  • Daily variety – work on a range of HVAC systems in commercial buildings, schools, and industrial facilities. chillers, boilers, air handling units (AHUs), variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, and building automation systems (BAS).
  • Clear expectations, solid leadership, and chances to work independently or lead other Techs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting Diagnostics & Optimization: Troubleshoot and enhance the performance of commercial HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as filter replacements, system inspections, and performance assessments
  • Controls Integration: Collaborate on integrating HVAC systems with Building Automation Systems (BAS) to optimize energy efficiency and performance.
  • Client Engagement: Communicate effectively with clients to assess HVAC needs and provide informed recommendations.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and complies with relevant regulations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC maintenance and diagnostics.
  • Universal EPA, OSHA 10 or 30 certification -
  • Leadership experience training and managing Techs and Installers
  • Proficiency in reading HVAC blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Experience with BAS integration and HVAC control systems is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid HVAC certification/license as required by local regulations.
