Garrett - Advancing Motion in Torrance, CA seeks a system-level HVAC expert to lead the design and integration of next-generation centrifugal, oil-free cooling solutions for data centers and industrial facilities.

You will drive system requirements, coordinate with customers, and ensure compliance with UL/CE/IEC, delivering energy-efficient, low-GWP refrigerant architectures and robust performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Mechanical, Thermal, or related Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in HVAC systems and cooling design.
• System-level architecture and integration of complete cooling installations.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical authority for OEMs, integrators, and key customers and drive system requirements.
• Develop optimized HVAC system configurations including multi-compressor architectures and cascade/hybrid systems.
• Lead system validation, commissioning, and early deployments; influence product roadmaps from system insights.
• Lead certification and compliance activities (UL, CE, IEC, ISO) ensuring early design-for-compliance.
