Job summary

Nova Space Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced HVAC Supervisor to lead installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of HVAC and refrigeration systems. You will provide leadership to technicians, ensure safety and code compliance, and support efficient facility operations.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial/industrial HVAC, EPA certification, and supervisory experience; reading blueprints, CMMS proficiency, and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; HVAC tech training preferred.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification required.
• Five+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC experience.
• Two+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient with CMMS and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily HVAC technicians and contractors.
• Plan preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation projects.
• Inspect work for compliance with standards, safety regs, and codes.
• Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues and guide technicians.
• Monitor work orders and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, tools, and parts.
• Develop maintenance schedules to maximize reliability.
• Ensure OSHA/EPA and local/federal code compliance.
• Prepare schedules, evaluations, and employee development plans.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams, vendors, and customers.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Maintain accurate records and equipment histories.
