Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced HVAC Superintendent for project-based commercial construction sites. You will oversee on-site HVAC/mechanical installation activities, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, and safety standards.

Lead field operations, manage look-ahead schedules, coordinate with other trades, and ensure timely turnover of systems including air handling units, RTUs, VAVs, and controls.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC or mechanical construction.
• Experience as HVAC Superintendent, Foreman, or Lead Mechanical Supervisor.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
• Strong leadership and coordination skills in a jobsite environment.
• Ability to work full-time on active construction sites.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience with Procore or similar construction management platforms.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily on-site HVAC/mechanical construction activities.
• Supervise HVAC subcontractors, foremen, and mechanical trades.
• Ensure HVAC systems are installed according to approved drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate ductwork, piping, equipment placement, and system routing.
• Verify proper installation of air handling units, RTUs, exhaust systems, VAVs, controls, and related components.
• Develop and manage short-term (look-ahead) HVAC schedules.
• Coordinate HVAC work with other trades (electrical, plumbing, fire protection, structural).
• Plan and schedule equipment deliveries, crane picks, and material staging.
• Identify and resolve field conflicts, clashes, or sequencing issues.
• Coordinate HVAC system testing, balancing (TAB), and startup activities.
• Support commissioning activities as required by the project.
• Verify system functionality prior to turnover.
• Assist with project closeout documentation related to HVAC systems.
• Serve as the primary HVAC field contact on the jobsite.
• Communicate daily progress, issues, and manpower needs to the Project Manager.
• Maintain daily reports, logs, and mechanical field documentation.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, and commissioning agents as needed.
