Answers In Genesis at Ark Encounter in Williamstown, KY is seeking a licensed HVAC Journeyman Technician to install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. You will diagnose complex issues, mentor apprentices, and work under the Manager of Facilities Maintenance.

You will handle equipment from 90-ton rooftop units to walk-in coolers, service multi‑phase systems, read gauges, and ensure code compliance with EPA rules. Strong communication and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Kentucky Journeyman HVAC license in good standing.
• EPA Section 608 certification (Universal preferred).
• Minimum 2 years' HVAC or related maintenance experience; refrigeration/rack systems preferred.
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC and commercial refrigeration systems from rooftop units to walk-in coolers.
• Service single- and three-phase equipment and R-410A/R-448A refrigerants with EPA compliance.
• Read gauges, perform load calculations, and size equipment for replacements.
• Coordinate with MFM, mentor apprentices, and maintain safety standards.
