Job summary

HomeWorks Energy in Connecticut seeks an experienced HVAC Crew Lead to supervise a small installation crew and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards.

You will organize on-site work, coordinate installations such as air-source heat pumps, boilers, furnaces, and central AC, and ensure compliance with Connecticut codes while delivering excellent customer service to clients.

Qualifications

• A valid Connecticut S-2 Journeyperson license is required.
• EPA certification required.
• Minimum five years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• Experience leading installation crews preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of one to two HVAC installers to complete residential installations.
• Coordinate workflow, assign tasks, and ensure timelines.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with Connecticut codes.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to crew members.
• Communicate with customers and report issues to management.
• Perform additional tasks as required.
