Job summary

Blue Ridge Heating & Air is seeking a Lead Installer in Greenville, SC, to head complete residential change-outs, including heat pumps, A/C units, and furnaces, delivering top workmanship and customer satisfaction.

You will mentor junior installers, maintain standards, and ensure safe, efficient on-site operations with a premium compensation package and a 4-day work week.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating as a Lead HVAC Installer.
• EPA Certification is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential change-outs from start to finish, ensuring quality craftsmanship.
• Install residential and light commercial HVAC equipment, sheet metal, and flex duct systems.
• Run and braze/solder copper refrigerant lines; wire line and low-voltage electrical components.
• Pre-measure jobs to ensure the right materials are loaded onto the truck the first time.
• Mentor and help train junior installers/apprentices on the team.
• Deliver an exceptional, respectful customer experience on every job site.

Earnings: $85,000 - $125,000+ First Year ($40-$60 Hourly + Performance Bonuses)

What You’ll Do (Role Responsibilities)

As a Lead Installer, you are the face of our quality craftsmanship. You will lead complete residential change-outs (heat pumps, A/C units, and furnaces) from start to finish, ensuring everything is up to manufacturer and company standards.

• Install residential and light commercial HVAC equipment, sheet metal, and flex duct systems.
• Run and braze/solder copper refrigerant lines; wire line and low-voltage electrical components.
• Pre-measure jobs to ensure the right materials are loaded onto your truck the first time.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked company vehicle.
• Mentor and help train junior installers/apprentices on your team.
• Deliver an exceptional, respectful customer experience on every job site.

What You Bring to the Team

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience operating as a true Lead HVAC Installer.
• Certifications: EPA Certification is required.
• Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities, proficiency with hand/power tools, and working knowledge of electrical/plumbing support systems.
• Driving Record: Valid, insurable driver’s license.
• Screening: Must be able to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
