Job summary

Airtron in Independence, KY seeks an experienced HVAC installer to lead residential new-construction installs, reading blueprints and specs to ensure precise work.

You will install furnaces, air handlers, condensers, ductwork, and perform start-up and commissioning, while mentoring junior installers and coordinating with builders and supervisors.

Requires 3–5+ years in residential/multi-family HVAC, valid driver's license, and willingness to overtime; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of HVAC installation experience in residential new construction or multi-family construction.
• Previous experience leading installation projects or mentoring crew members preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, installation methods, ductwork fabrication, and system start-up procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Comfortable using tablets, laptops, or mobile devices to complete documentation and communicate with the team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to work overtime or occasional weekends as project demands require.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation of HVAC systems in multi-family residential new construction projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and manufacturer specifications.
• Install furnaces, air handlers, condensers, ventilation systems, refrigerant lines, ductwork, and related HVAC components.
• Fabricate and install ductwork and fittings as needed.
• Perform equipment start-up, testing, and system commissioning.
